Results are saved only on this computer.Students on other computers can’t reach this dashboard yet. Connect a Google Sheet so every result and live progress arrives here from any computer, and you can watch from your phone or another device.
Update your Google script. The newest version loads results quickly however many you keep, lets students wait for your OK before each part, and gives you a live monitor for your phone or any other device. Updating takes two minutes and keeps the same link.

How to set up the Google Sheet (once, about 10 minutes)
On a computer, open sheets.google.com with your Google account and create a blank spreadsheet. Name it Crossborder results.
In the spreadsheet, choose Extensions › Apps Script.
Delete the code that is already there. Press Copy the setup script below, paste it into the editor and press Save.
In the toolbar, choose the function setup and press Run. Google asks you to allow access: choose your account, then Advanced › Go to project (unsafe) › Allow. The warning appears because the script is your own, not checked by Google.
Press Deploy › New deployment. Choose the type Web app, set Execute as to Me and Who has access to Anyone, then press Deploy.
Copy the Web app URL (it ends in /exec), paste it in the box above and press Connect.
Press Download student copy and send that file to your students.
“Anyone” lets students’ tests send results to your sheet without a Google account. Only this dashboard, with your password, can read them.
Already set up, and need to update the script? Press Copy the setup script, open your sheet’s Extensions › Apps Script, select all the old code and paste over it, press Save, then choose Deploy › Manage deployments, press the pencil icon, set Version to New version and press Deploy. Your web app link stays the same.
Give students the test
Send your students this link. It opens the tests with your Google Sheet connected, so you see their progress here as they answer, on any device.
Download a copy of this file with your Google Sheet built in and send it to your students. Their progress and results come straight here, with no codes to send. You can also open this copy on any other computer and log in to use this dashboard there.
Watch from your phone or another device
Open this link in any browser on a phone, tablet or computer and log in with your teacher username and password. You’ll see who is testing, let students start each part, and see new results.
